Overheating and coolant
An engine that runs hot or boils over doesn't always need a new radiator. 115 Super Waterless Coolant is waterless, protects from −56°C to 190°C and puts no pressure on the cooling system, which suits vintage, classic and performance engines; there's a motorcycle version for dirt bikes. 600 Vintage Soluble Oil Coolant doubles the heat transfer of glycol coolant in veteran and vintage cars. For everyday cars, 4WDs and trucks there are green, red, blue and pink concentrates, 109++ for G12 vehicles, 107 for heavy-duty diesels and 500, a ready-to-use premix.

A blown head gasket usually means taking the head off. 245 Blown Head Gasket Repair seals it through the cooling system instead, and also repairs cracked and warped heads, leaking heater cores and Welsh plugs. The 246 Head Gasket Test Kit confirms the diagnosis first. 230 Stop Oil Leak Seal Expander rejuvenates dried, hardened seals to stop oil leaks, such as a rear main seal weeping onto the driveway, with a success rate above 95%. 235 does the same for hydraulic rams and pumps, 229 for diesel fuel pumps, and 243 Radiator Stop Leak Kit seals small radiator and heater leaks in thirty minutes of running.

Over the years scale builds up in the radiator and water jacket and insulates the engine from its coolant: a millimetre of it can cut heat transfer by up to 30%. 239 Cooling System Cleaning Kit dissolves it without taking anything apart. After a head gasket or oil cooler failure, 238 Cooling System Sludge Remover removes the oil sludge left in the radiator and heater. 240 Organic Rust Remover takes rust off completely without damaging the original part.
